Flight Review: EVA Air Royal Laurel Class (CTS – TPE)

by

Flight overview

Airport experience

The line for Economy Class passengers, with the empty Priority lane to the left.
Check-in counters for business class passengers and Oneworld elite members
Entrance to the Royal Lounge, which is open daily from 7:30AM to 9:00PM

There was plenty of seating when I arrived, and after walking around the entire lounge, I settled on a seat by the window which looks over to the terminal below. It’s a nice spot for people watching as well.

Ample seating inside the airport lounge
Jet bridge exclusively for business class passengers

Flight experience

Arriving at my Royal Laurel seat, 6G
Pillow and blanket waiting for me at my seat
Pre-flight sparkling wine and hot towel
Immense legroom and big touchscreen entertainment system
Compartment to store the headset
Pre-meal drink and warm nuts
Soup, appetizer sampler, and main dish
Suzhou style mooncake with sesame paste filling
Bottle of Evian water offered before landing
